I had the pleasure of meeting Lorri a while back when I was mourning the loss of my brother. I was very impressed by her kindness, positivity and willingness to help every deserving person. At the time, I was searching to bless someone anonymously. I had been scammed before by someone online.. What I appreciate most about Lorri is her willingness to go the extra step to check out the behind the scenes, to make sure the people she is going to connect you with, is truly in need of a hand up! Not only did Lorri become my friend with her concern for my grieving the loss of a family member. She has shown what a powerful woman she is in the community with her husband at her side, providing much needed support for children and seniors alike! It doesn’t matter what the situation, she is always ready to help!! Because of her, I have become nana to some wonderful little children. I wish I had a million dollars to give her organization, because she truly deserves it!!

To the powers that be, Ms. Lorri Brown is the person that all of us should strive to be. I have witnessed numerous times, the 24/7 dedication, integrity, honesty and generosity she give to everyone she meets. Her process is streamlined and help for those in need is swift! Her team of volunteers and Ms. Lorri herself do all the verifying of information to be sure that folks who truly need help get it and the numerous scammers run like whipped dogs! Ms. Lorri does not tolerate the liars and thieves! I wish I had more to give to her nonprofit. It’s not even my county but my respect for her and how she runs her nonprofit is unwavering.

Dream Catchers 21 is the go to organization for our entire County. They jumped into action to assist a homeless man that was living under a bridge bringing him food & showing love. After he was hit by a car, the organization tracked him down and helped all along the way with our community to assist him finding help for his health and a place to recover. There are multiple stories that followed from this as our community joined with Dream Catchers 21. We are all so thankful that God has sent Lorri Brown to us to be the hands & feet of Jesus. She works tirelessly to help our community to help and vet those that are potential scammers. I can’t think of a more deserving person for this award. Our community would be so happy to see that Lorri is acknowledged for her efforts to those that are in need.
